From a young age Sara was told she had the perfect look for comedy with many people commenting on how funny looking she was. Her comic charms earned Sara the chance to tour
the UK with the Theatre for Youth appearing in Peter and the Wolf, Alice through the Looking Glass and The Wizard and the Shoemaker. Her performances earned her the tag as the next Julie Walters by Theatre for Youth
casting director Helen Lomas. After a performance as the warm up act for a charity event at the Twyford Hall in Aylesbury, Sara has starred in the 5 five minute short film Showtime, and has performed at Downstairs at the
King's Head, and Filthy McNasty's Comedy Club as her alter ego Phanny which earned her even more funny looks.
Sara's then decided to take her future in her own hands and write a comedy based on her own life experiences. After performing some of her ideas in front of her friends, the positive feedback encouraged her to write a
full length play and perform it at The Philbeach Hall in Earls Court. After the success of the Earls Court show, another followed at the Dinton Village Hall in Aylesbury before being offered the chance to perform her play
in Gibraltar. After some more performances in Hertfordshire, Sara performed at the renowned Cockpit Theatre in London which earned her much praise. The next stage in Sara's career will be in Edinburgh this August 07 for 9
nights. Hope you can be there to be part of it. |
After
finishing his degree in Film and Media, Bambos made the unusual step of
becoming a TV extra in order to break into the production world. This
is probably the reason why the back of his head looks so familiar. The
ploy worked and Bambos managed to work on productions for the National
Film School, Dream Team, and London Bridge amongst others as well as
appearing in Greek theatre and the Lord Knott series of plays. After a
long stint working for Sky News and Sky Sports News, Bambos produced
and directed the spoof documentary Magic Boots. With two new projects
in the pipeline, the back of Bambos’ head is set to swell to even
larger proportions. |
